EM_GETEVENTMASK Message


The EM_GETEVENTMASK message retrieves the event mask for a rich edit control. The event mask specifies which notification messages the control sends to its parent window.

Syntax

To send this message, call the SendMessage function as follows.
lResult = SendMessage(     // returns LRESULT in lResult
   (HWND) hWndControl,     // handle to destination control
   (UINT) EM_GETEVENTMASK,     // message ID
   (WPARAM) wParam,     // = (WPARAM) () wParam;
   (LPARAM) lParam     // = (LPARAM) () lParam;
);

Parameters

wParam
Not used; must be zero.
lParam
Not used; must be zero.

Return Value

This message returns the event mask for the rich edit control.
