EM_GETIMECOLOR Message


The EM_GETIMECOLOR message retrieves the Input Method Editor (IME) composition color. This message is available only in Asian-language versions of the operating system.

Syntax

To send this message, call the SendMessage function as follows.
lResult = SendMessage(     // returns LRESULT in lResult
   (HWND) hWndControl,     // handle to destination control
   (UINT) EM_GETIMECOLOR,     // message ID
   (WPARAM) wParam,     // = (WPARAM) () wParam;
   (LPARAM) lParam     // = (LPARAM) () lParam;
);

Parameters

wParam
This parameter is not used; it must be zero.
lParam
Pointer to a four-element array of COMPCOLOR structures that receives the composition color.

Return Value

If the operation succeeds, the return value is a nonzero value.

If the operation fails, the return value is zero.
