EM_GETTYPOGRAPHYOPTIONS Message

The EM_GETTYPOGRAPHYOPTIONS message returns the current state of the typography options of a rich edit control.

Syntax

To send this message, call the SendMessage function as follows.

Parameters

wParam
Not used; must be zero.
lParam
Not used; must be zero.

Return Value

The return value can be one of the following values.
TO_ADVANCEDTYPOGRAPHY Advanced typography (special line breaking and line formatting) is turned on.
TO_SIMPLELINEBREAK Normal line breaking and formatting is used.

Remarks

You can turn on advanced line breaking by sending the EM_SETTYPOGRAPHYOPTIONS message. Advanced and normal line breaking may also be turned on automatically by the rich edit control if it is needed for certain languages.
