EM_REQUESTRESIZE Message

The EM_REQUESTRESIZE message forces a rich edit control to send an EN_REQUESTRESIZE notification message to its parent window.

Syntax

To send this message, call the SendMessage function as follows.

   (UINT) EM_REQUESTRESIZE,

Not used; must be zero.
lParam
Not used; must be zero.

Return Value

This message does not return a value.

Remarks

This message is useful during WM_SIZE processing for the parent of a bottomless rich edit control.
