EM_SETPALETTE Message


An application sends an EM_SETPALETTE message to change the palette that rich edit uses for its display window.

Syntax

To send this message, call the SendMessage function as follows.
lResult = SendMessage(     // returns LRESULT in lResult
   (HWND) hWndControl,     // handle to destination control
   (UINT) EM_SETPALETTE,     // message ID
   (WPARAM) wParam,     // = (WPARAM) () wParam;
   (LPARAM) lParam     // = (LPARAM) () lParam;
);

Parameters

wParam
Handle to the new palette used by the rich edit control.
lParam
This parameter is not used; it must be zero.

Return Value

This message does not return a value.


Remarks

Microsoft® Rich Edit assumes the palette you're passing is valid.
