Maybe you need more judges so the probablitly of ties goes down? Still, you did pretty well! Congratulations! Maybe you need more judges so the probablitly of ties goes down? However, since there is no averaging involved in tabulating the scores, I don't think the number of judges has anything to do with it--but I could be wrong! :)

I guess I was wrong. Maybe you should try bribing the judges instead (just kidding!). :-) I went the wrong way then, maybe you need to go down to 1 judge ;-)

Better to be Briam than Brina, which is the mistake I usually make when I can't seem to spell my name. Oops, I just realized I can’t spell my name. (and won) However, I believe the problem with all of these ties is that the judges all score so close together some times at the end of three or four rounds there is only 1-3 points seperating all the fidders. One judge may have one guy ahead by two points and another guy three points behind then another judge cancells it out by having the other guy ahead by three points and the other guy behind by two and then there is the judge who enevitably doesn't want to make any one mad and gives all the contestants the same very high score. Just my take on this judging thing. So, if you ever judge a fiddle contest (Seperate out the scores of the fiddlers) Congrats on your contest wins, Jacie Hey, I’m one of those crazy fiddlers from Idaho who went to that contest in Gaston.
