Back from Booher Camp
I just got back from Sisters, Oregon at The Booher Family Music Camp…an entire week of fiddle instruction, jamming, making friends, and good food.
I had a great time there doing everything from learning neat songs from great teachers, to playing Set, to jamming until 1AM, and meeting lots of great people!
And, here’s the question from camp (from our band scramble):
If every person in the United States had a large body of water in their living room, what would they be doing?
And a hint:
What Broadway musical features a violinist generating tonal frequencies while perched atop the outer protective surface area of an abode?
Know the answer? Leave a comment!
Also, if you were at camp, please leave a comment or email me, and say hi! I’d love to stay in touch. ![]()

If the large body of water in their living room was heated, most likely they get in it and watch TV. Seriously, I don’t know, what’s the answer?

Hmm, maybe the question should be rephrased:
Answer: Fiddler on the Roof.

Oh, OK, that makes it more interesting. Being that I’m not a fiddle player (I’ll stick to my trusty old keyboard)….I wouldn’t know…
Oh wait, I just noticed you gave the answer. Hmmm…Fiddler on the Roof…ahh, I still don’t get. I’ve seen the musical, but can’t seem to remember any large bodies of water…
