A grand old farm original from my first experiance in lettuce breeding. A sibling to 'Antares', also dating back to 1983, this oakleaf head is very upright with a bronze cast, splashed with irregular red patches. Midribs are often pink, especially when exposed to light by previous harvests. Can form huge heads in fertile ground. Sweeet! Farm Original Variety!
