An open headed curly endive from Italy with deeply ruffled leaf margins, suitable for leaf cutting from dense sowing or head production from 9-12" row spacing. Spring sowings will bolt briefly after heading, summer plantings will form beautiful heads of blanched hearts that keep enlarging. With careful cutting, these can be continuously harvested into winter for tender salads.
