Flowers: Rudbeckia/Black-Eyed Susan
Rudbeckia spp.
Perennials and annuals native to North America, all with that "black eyed Susan" appeal. The perennials should be divided after 3 years. Spacing of 12-18" is suitable for all of these species. The seedheads are useful for dried arrangements, or as standing natural bird feeders going into winter.

Anemones (Rudbeckia/Black-Eyed Susan)  Anemones Farm Original Variety! OSSI Pledged Variety
This is a recent selection out of ‘Gloriosa Double Daisy’ with tubular ray flowers that taper toward the end, giving the effect of lifeforms from a tidepool. Still a work in progress, but too cool not to share. Forms vary from single to semi-double on 3’ stems. Some of these may have bicolor petals. pricing and more info...

 Chim Chiminee (Rudbeckia)  Chim Chiminee
We just love the genetic diversity in this mix of quilled rudbekia, with each ray flower rolled into a tube. So many hues of gold and cinnamon in so many different petal arrangements. By far the most vigorous rudbekia we’ve grown, out-yielding other varieties by 3 to 1. pricing and more info...

Gloriosa Double Daisy (Rudbeckia/Black-Eyed Susan)  Gloriosa Double Daisy
The truest forms of this 1981 AAS winner seem to have disappeared from the marketplace, replaced by any number of colors and forms you can see onlne. Johnny's Selected Seeds has asked our help in this reintroduction of the classic 'Gloriosa Double' form, providing an excellent stock seed selection for an organic seed production, with blessings for us to offer it through our catalog. Larger quant... pricing and more info...

A selection out of ‘Gloriosa Double Daisy’ to maximize the “muppet effect” of these robust tetraploid beauties. ‘Moppets’ (in truth, we call them “muppets,” but can’t sell that) are covered in golden ray flowers, scarcely showing their dark disc heads. Long stems, reaching 3’ in their second year. Still a work in progress. pricing and more info...

 Sahara (Rudbeckia/Black-Eyed Susan)  Sahara
The most dramatic new Rudbeckia on the market, with colors from burgundy to bronze and copperish tones, with gold and sulfur highlights. Petals are broad and short, highly doubled, completely covering the disc in some cases, creating a mum-like effect. This population is actually a selection out of Sahara, enhancing the percentage of “mummy” types. We notice that plants are taller, with longer... pricing and more info...

Tall Triloba (Rudbeckia/Black-Eyed Susan)  Tall Triloba Farm Original Variety! OSSI Pledged Variety
NEW FOR 2023! Taller than ‘Triloba Macau’ by a foot or two, with longer stems and a sparser flora display. Leah Rodgers of Indigo Gardens (PDX) recently pointed out that she prefers the longer/sparser look for her cut work, and the denser floral displays for landscapes. This one’s for you, Leah! For any R. triloba, partial shade generates longer stems. This strain reminds me of the native species... pricing and more info...
